·        Assisting in Central Disease Diagnostic Laboratory.

·        Experiments on immunotoxicity and immunomodulation.

·        Compilation and Analysis of data from research experiments and data from Regional Disease Diagnostic Laboratories.

As a Masters Student

·        Studied in-situ detection of apoptosis in avian lymphocytes from thymus, spleen and bursa of developing stages of chicks. The apoptotic changes in avian lymphocytes were studied at developing stages of chicks through electron microscopy, agarose gel electrophoresis of apoptotic DNA and Annexin-V staining by immunoperoxidase technique. Also blastogenic capacity of T- and B-lymphocytes was studied using lymphocyte proliferation and viability test. Effect of cow urine was also investigated on the above parameters.

As an Undergraduate Student

·        Studied all basic veterinary courses and six months period training during the internship programme. Handled and were exposed to broiler production, management and marketing, production and management of swine and goats and treatment of domestic animals and pets.

Teaching/Demonstration

·        As an adjunct teaching faculty towards undergraduate students. Conduct of examinations and evaluation of undergraduate students as an M.V.Sc.scholar.

·        Training provided to the participants on Cell Stress and Apoptosis sponsored by Society for Immunology and Immunopathology, Pantnagar on August 23^rd 2003.
